Common questions

How many students are in a group?

Between three and five, grouped by exam board and target grade where possible.

Will my child get feedback on their own writing?

Yes. Students write in every lesson and the teacher marks it against the exam criteria.

Can we switch to one-to-one later?

Yes, at any time.

Who are your tutors?

Qualified UK teachers (QTS or QTLS) with Enhanced DBS checks and classroom experience. Some also mark GCSE exams for the exam boards. We do not use student tutors.

What do we need for online lessons?

A laptop or tablet and a reliable internet connection. Lessons run in our own virtual classroom, reached through the Learning Portal in a web browser, so there are no Zoom links or downloads.

How do we get started?

Book a free online consultation. Before it, your child does a diagnostic test at home, so we can talk through the results and agree a plan. There is no obligation to continue.

See where your child really stands.

Tell us about your child and we will take it from there: a diagnostic test at home, then a conversation about the plan.
